Equipment

  • 1 non-stick skillet For cooking the pancakes.
  • 1 Large bowl For mixing dry ingredients.
  • 1 medium bowl For mixing wet ingredients.
  • 1 ladle For pouring batter onto the skillet.

Ingredients

Dry Ingredients

  • 1 cup All-purpose flour A key ingredient for structure and texture.
  • 2 teaspoons Baking powder Helps the pancakes rise and become fluffy.
  • 2 tablespoons Granulated sugar Adds sweetness and enhances flavor.
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt Balances the sweetness and enhances overall taste.

Wet Ingredients

  • 1 cup Milk Provides moisture and helps create a smooth batter.
  • 2 large Eggs Bind the ingredients together and add richness.
  • 2 tablespoons Butter Adds flavor and helps achieve a crispy texture.
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract Infuses a delightful aroma and flavor.
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon Adds warmth and a hint of spice.
  • optional to taste Honey A natural sweetener that can replace sugar for a unique flavor.

Instructions

Step 1: Gather Your Ingredients

  • Collect all your ingredients: flour, baking powder, sugar, salt, milk, eggs, and butter. Don't forget the vanilla extract for that extra sweetness!

Step 2: Mix the Dry Ingredients

  • In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt. Make sure everything is well combined for a fluffy pancake!

Step 3: Combine the Wet Ingredients

  • In another bowl, beat the eggs and then add the milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth and creamy.

Step 4: Combine Wet and Dry Mixtures

  • Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients. Stir gently until just combined. A few lumps are okay—don’t overmix!

Step 5: Heat the Pan

  • Preheat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. You can add a little butter to grease the pan for that golden finish!

Step 6: Pour the Batter

  • Using a ladle, pour the batter onto the skillet. For cobweb effect, start from the center and spiral outwards!

Step 7: Cook Until Bubbly

  • Cook until bubbles form on the surface, about 2-3 minutes. Flip carefully and cook for another 2 minutes until golden brown.

Step 8: Serve and Enjoy!

  • Stack your pancakes high and drizzle with syrup, honey, or your favorite toppings. Enjoy your sweet crunchy cobweb pancakes!
