Step 1: Gather Your Ingredients
- Collect 1 pound of steak, 8 ounces of fettuccine, 1 cup of heavy cream, 1 cup of grated Parmesan cheese, 2 tablespoons of Cajun seasoning, 2 tablespoons of olive oil, 2 cloves of garlic (minced), salt, and pepper.
Step 2: Cook the Fettuccine
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the fettuccine and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Step 3: Season the Steak
- Rub the steak with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper. Make sure it's well-coated for that flavorful kick!
Step 4: Sear the Steak
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the steak and sear for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare. Adjust time for your preferred doneness. Remove and let it rest.
Step 5: Make the Alfredo Sauce
- In the same skillet, lower the heat and add minced garlic. Sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream and stir well.
Step 6: Add Cheese and Combine
- Gradually add the grated Parmesan cheese to the cream, stirring until melted and smooth. Season with additional Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper to taste.
Step 7: Toss the Fettuccine
- Add the cooked fettuccine to the sauce, tossing to coat every strand in that creamy goodness.
Step 8: Slice the Steak
- Slice the rested steak against the grain into thin strips. This will make it tender and easy to eat!
Step 9: Serve and Enjoy!
- Plate the creamy fettuccine and top with the sliced steak. Garnish with extra Parmesan and a sprinkle of Cajun seasoning. Dig in and enjoy your epic comfort food delight!
